Boat Shed, Queens Park

A screening of films in a unique location at the Boat Shed in Queens Park, thanks to Glasgow South Ship Modeller's Society for the use of their boat shed. This screening will feature a programme of short archive films of Southside Glasgow in the 1950s and 1960s followed by a chance to see the Oscar winning documentary Seawards the Great Ships, based on a treatment by John Grierson, depicting the construction, fit and launch of ships from the Clyde shipyard.
