A seminar where the processing and art of composing music for film will be discussed at The Shed featuring the following great panellists and their professional experiences:
- Malcolm Lindsay is a composer and musician based in Glasgow, who is a winner of a Royal Television Society Award (2009) for his score in the ITV series Unforgiven and has composed a number of scores for television and feature films such as Blinded, 16 Years of Alcohol and Young Adam.
- Mick Cooke is probably best known as the trumpeter, bassist and orchestral arranger for Belle and Sebastian, and he has been composing for screen since 2007, including the score for Gili Dolev's animation The Happy Duckling.
- Eleanor Yule is an award winning writer and director, whose credits include an acclaimed profile on R.D.Laing, BBC Series Ghost stories for Christmas, feature film Blinded, and she has collaborated with many fine film composers including the late Geoffrey Burgon (Life of Brian, Brideshead Revisited) and Scottish born composer Malcolm Lindsey (Blinded, Michael Palin and the Mystery of Hammershoi).
