The Southside Film Festival is delighted to have a range of speakers and guests attending screenings to give introductions and take part in Q&As and discussions. They include:
- Beth Allan is the director for The Forest of Black, will present a screening of their work and take part in a Q&A.
- Blair Young is the producer for The Forest of Black, will present a screening of their work and take part in a Q&A.
- Duncan McCrone is the Senior Manager for Scotland at PRS for Music will be chairing the seminar on composing music for film.
- Eleanor Yule is a writer and director, will participate in the seminar on composing music for film.
- Gary Lewis is an actor who will introduce and talk about the films Close and Fridge which were made in Govanhill in the 1990s.
- Malcolm Lindsay is a composer and musician and will participate in the seminar on composing music for film.
- Mick Cooke is a musician and composer and will participate in the seminar on composing music for film.
- Sergio Casci is the writer of American Cousins who will be attending the screening to provide and introduction and take part in a Q&A.
- Stephen McCole is an actor who stars in Crying With Laughter and will be attending the screening and participating in a Q&A afterwards.
